Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent Black Cotton Ruffle Skirt Suit

Tom Ford did some incredible pieces during his reign at Yves Saint Laurent. What I liked about this suit is that although it is cotton and easy to wear in the warmer months, it has depth. The black is rich and the ruffle design is slightly dramatic. The detail work is amazing-the skirt’s zipper is in front behind the ruffle and zips all the way so dressing is easy. The collar’s neckline is beautiful since it retains its shape and has a perfectly placed buckle. Quite comfortable. These pieces are very easy to separate. I’d wear the jacket on it’s own with jeans. Size French 36. Most suitable for a US size 2.
