Le Smoking Collection by Yves Saint Laurent

The Le Smoking Tuxedo suit deputed in 1966 by Yves Saint Laurent. Since then it has been a pop culture icon. Whenever I think Le Smoking I imagine the timeless French beauty Catherine Deneuve whom is no less stunning in person as on film. Of course YSL muse Loulou de Falaise comes to mind as well. This is such a fantastic set in that it has never been worn-the extra two rhinestone buttons are still sewn in on the inside panel. The black velvet lapel with single rhinestone closure screams Christmas in Paris and then off to the countryside! I imagine dinner at a very long table with the best of friends! The skirt has two large pockets which is great for the iPhone! I would wear the jacket by itself most of the time with black pants or jeans. You could easily wear the black skirt all year with a fitted black turtleneck or crisp white shirt. The length of both pieces is so modern. It’s a classic French size 38 with the original vintage Saint Laurent label.
