I dream in Alexander McQueen. If there’s anyone who knows macabre and romances the genius it’s Alexander McQueen. His designs during his mortal years take you on flight and I always imagine wings attached to his designs. His shows were the most dramatic and enrapturing showcasing the eminence of the mortal beings we are. His designs remind me of the Torre Abbey Jewel, found at the Torre Abbey Estate, and now on permanent display at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The jewel is an ever present reminder to the wearer of the brevity of our mortal coil. This McQueen design is during his lifetime and it is one of the most fabulous jackets I have seen. The whole jacket is paneled and the waist corseted. The pockets are covered and the pocket’s cover panels become part of the side and back paneling design on the jacket. It is an architectural masterpiece and fits like a corset. The low shawl lapel neckline accentuates a women curvature perfectly. The grey wool looks almost silk like and the red intarsia lining and accents throughout make this a museum worthy piece that would awaken the spirit of Vlad the Impaler. Never worn and Italian size 40, this would best fit a size 0-2 US and no larger than a 26 inch waist.I shot this listening to Faithless Insomnia and God is a DJ. Contact for more video and footage.
