ODE DE FETTY WAP

Fetty Wap is a special guy. This sweatshirt “TRAP QUEEN” is my tribute to the now not so underground rap artist. In December of 2016 I took a road trip from San Francisco to Malibu and pulled over somewhere about half way there and went into get my Japanese Akita Nikki some water. Fetty Wap walks by and we nod at each other and then he raises two fingers and says “cool dawg”. Seeing me struggle with the water cups and machine he starts talking to the staff and reaches over from the side slightly behind and hands me cup of water-“What’s this? “Here, water for your dog. I get it-I’ve got three dogs.” We started talking about dogs and then bid adieu. We shared a resonance and to me he is quite a gentleman. Neither of us knew anything about one another and I didn’t know anything about him at the time. He has sung this “TRAP QUEEN” anthem with Taylor Swift, and partnered with other leading artists such as Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dog and he loves my dog Nikki. We now dance to 679 and Trap Queen on our living room dance floor. Sustainably sourced second hand and lovingly washed in eco-friendly Meyer’s Baby Detergent. 100% of proceeds go to a local dog rescue charity.
